Christopher Clark: Who, What, Where, When and Why: How European Leaders Lost the Plot and Went to War in 1914
Lunchtime Lecture at the National Army Museum, London
Datum:
Donnerstag, 18. April 2013
Ort:
London
The story of the outbreak of the First World War is well known but deserves a closer re-examination in the run up to the 1914 commemorations. New historical sources have allowed new insights to be gained into how ineffectual political leaders of the time stumbled from crisis to crisis and led Europe into war.
Christopher Clark is professor of modern European history at the University of Cambridge.
